About OvertimeCalc
OvertimeCalc is a free set of overtime calculators for hourly workers in the United States. You enter your hourly rate and the hours you worked, and the tool shows your regular pay, overtime pay and gross pay for the week.
Each state page applies the overtime rules that state uses. Some states follow the federal weekly rule only. Others, such as California and Colorado, add daily overtime rules, and the calculator reflects that.
How we keep the information accurate
Rules are written from the public guidance of the U.S. Department of Labor and each state labor department, and we link to those sources on every page. Laws change, so each page shows when its rules were last reviewed. If you spot something out of date, please contact us.
What this site is not
OvertimeCalc is not a law firm, payroll provider or tax advisor. Results are estimates of gross pay before taxes and deductions. Read our disclaimer for details.
